Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota, journalist, writer, anchor for CNN's morning show "New Day," and Westport, CT resident, has been elected to the board of trustees at Westport Country Playhouse. Camerota's three decades of journalism has seen her write reports across the country as well as overseas. She was awarded the Edward R. Murrow Award and the Emmy Award. The board also has' changes Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford is named an honorary trustee, having been as a trustee since 2007 and Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport has been elected chair of the board after having been since the beginning of 2013 on the board. CzekajFarber succeeds Barbara Streicker of Westport, who was chairperson since October 15, 2015, and continues serving on the board from 2006.
